Role

Adam leads the delivery of all infrastructure and service management at P1, under the direction of Greg.  Adam leads the people involved in these services, while remaining hands on in most aspects from deployment through to support.  One of Adam's key reponsibilities is to plan deployment projects and ensure that we deliver server system migration, upgrade and installation projects with mimimum downtime and disruption.

Career History

Adam grew up near Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand and began his IT career working for a large law firm, Duncan Cotterill, where he was involved in the design implementation and support of their IT infrastructure. Adam then moved to New Zealand's North Island to work for an IT Services company, providing software and hardware support for Hawkes Bay based businesses and contracting to Large IT organisations such as IBM Global Services and Gen-I.

In late 2005 Adam moved to the UK to be closer to extended family, and joined P1 in early 2006. Adam's career has exposed him to a very wide array of computing environments, from small businesses right through to large distributed organisations, such as the New Zealand Police. More locally Adam has worked with an array of our clients including South Norfolk Council, Babergh Council, Jack Richards & Sons and Go Ape.

Interests

Adam currently spends his spare time in a myriad of DIY preparing for the arrival of his first child in June.  Other interests include P1's football evevings and attending Norwich Central Baptist Church.
