We are an experienced team of business and technology experts who really understand how to make technology work. We partner with all kinds of organisations, from businesses and not-for-profits to the public sector - helping them to improve performance and maximise their potential.

History
Our business was established in 2003 by Jason Kay, Greg Duffield and Duncan Cardwell (pictured above left to right). Success came quickly and we now employ an exceptional team of over 25 of the best business, technology and client services people in the region.
In 2005 we were awarded Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status (at the time, the only company in Norfolk), which we’ve maintained ever since. We plan to build on this solid foundation by opening a second office to service a London client base later this year.
The growth of our eclectic team has brought a real diversity of skills and knowledge. We have enormous experience in all things IT combined with specific experience in finance, the NHS, local government, transport and logistics, retail, leisure, oil and gas and the not-for-profit sectors. Our special strength, we believe, lies in working with businesses that are entrepreneurial and growing today, ambitious to be the large businesses of tomorrow. We understand the issues faced by growing companies as IT becomes ever more important to commercial success, and we believe we have a powerful contribution to make.

Technology
P1 sits firmly in the Microsoft camp and has built two excellent teams of Microsoft technology experts. Our custom development team works primarily with .Net, SharePoint and SQL Server and has solid expertise in MS Virtual Earth development. We aim to keep ahead of the technological curve and so are already building prototype Silverlight 1.0 and .Net 3.5 framework components and applications, taking advantage of tools such as Expression Blend. We have Visual Studio 2008 on most of our developer desktops.
Our Infrastructure and Service Management team works with the majority of the Microsoft Server System suite and has extensive knowledge of Active Directory, ISA Server, Exchange Server and Office Communications Server. The team also has significant experience with integrated third-party systems such as Neverfail, Marathon and Blackberry Enterprise along with a deep understanding of WANs, communications and VoIP.

Our Business Innovation Team brings wide commercial experience and we work with a number of associate consultants who bring specialist knowlege in Sales, Marketing and Finance. We work closely with those leading their organisation to help them to define IT strategy, drive out opportunities for business change and to find solutions to existing business problems.
